The Very Special Story of HOPE.**

One Sunday at the end of May when we got home from church, my daughter screamed for me from the upstairs. One of our pregnant mother cats had gotten out of her room and  delivered her kittens in a litter box of clumping cat litter.  There were 5 kittens, 4 boys and Hope.  These poor little kittens were in such a horrible knot I did not know how i would get them apart.  Hope's rear foot was twisted and broken in the tangle.

This is Hope on Monday at one day old without her foot.

The vet gave her antibiotics and she did great.

Hope at about 3-4 months, no one even notices she is missing a foot.

        

       

The rest of the story:  Hope would tap her left leg on my wood and ceramic floors as she ran around my house.Over time her leg got irritated  from the bumping.  I took her to the vet and we decided she was less likely to have issues later if we took her leg off at the hip. This was such a great decision (a very expensive one) but if you met Hope you would understand!!

          

Hope was such a good little patient.  She hated the collar she had to wear but was very good about it.

I had always intended to have her authorized as a visitation cat for hospitals, etc.  I wanted to have her visit kids with cancer or veterans.  Because of my accident in Nov. I don't know when I will be able to do that. This is why I am now letting her go to a new home. 

She runs, jumps and plays like all the other kittens.  She is my very best "bugger".  We say with hope, if it flies, it dies!  She is a very loving kitten.  She sits on your lap, looks up to your eyes and melts your heart.  I Love Hope so much it will be very hard when she goes, but I know she will love someone and will get more attention without having to share!

I want Hope to go to a very special home.

Hope is $850 and she is spayed and fully vetted with her rabies cert.

This little girl is so loving she is keeping me from my work....I actually had to put her in the cattery for a while so I could get some things done.

"Svetlana" was born on 8-18-09

Her mother is Gladys, a cat I placed because she was not as hypo-allergic as I would like.

For that reason Svetlana is only $600 but I would like her to go to a home without severe allergies.

She is very small with a beautiful dense coat.  Very Flashy!
